Do I need a GP referral?
No. Book directly on our booking page. We keep your GP informed so shared-care works smoothly afterwards.
How do deposits work?
Adults €200, combined and child assessments €300, fast-track dual €500. The deposit secures your slot and comes off the total; the balance is paid on the day. Fast-Track adult ADHD (€1,200) is prepaid in full.
What happens at the assessment?
A structured clinical interview with the Consultant Psychiatrist, validated questionnaires, developmental and medical history review, plus bloods/ECG where clinically appropriate. You receive a written diagnostic report with a treatment plan.
Will my GP accept the diagnosis?
Yes. Reports follow recognised diagnostic criteria and include shared-care guidance. Once stable on medication, most patients move to GP reviews of approx. €70 every 3 months.
How fast can I be seen?
First appointments are usually within days. Fast-Track Adult ADHD targets assessment within 2 weeks (report within 4 weeks); Combined Fast-Track targets approx. 3 weeks.
What if I already have a diagnosis?
Choose Transfer of Care (€400): records and medication review, safety checks and ongoing prescribing under Consultant oversight.
What should children bring?
School reports, previous assessments, and developmental notes. Parents complete questionnaires beforehand; school input helps where available.
What is the cancellation policy?
48 hours’ notice required. Late cancellation or non-attendance may forfeit the deposit.
In-person or video?
Both. Cornerpark clinic in Newcastle, Dublin, plus video appointments where clinically suitable. Bloods must be in person, Mon–Fri 7am–12pm.
How do I pay?
Deposit when you book by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Klarna via Stripe, balance on the day. Receipts provided for health insurance and tax relief claims.
